Air India is tightening seatbelts and talking tough, and the word is that NACIL will hire a professional CEO to report to CMD Arvind Jadhav. He also makes surprise visits to the airport incognito: He was spotted in the AI business lounge testing service levels; and when he has a flight to catch, rather than pull rank and check in late, he gets in an hour early to check out ops and staff performance.
