The Givers and the Crusaders
A 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air—previously owned by Raja Manujendra Shah of Tehri – Garhwal. The 57 Chevy was one of GM’s more successful models—the GM advertisement for the car called it “Sweet, Smooth & Sassy”, “A Road Ain’t Built Which Can Make It Breathe Hard!” and “The Heartbeat of America!”
Diljeet loves this car ‘for its amazing, smooth V8 engine and classic fintail styling and design.’ He says that the Chevy 57 was very popular with college students in the USA—so much so that it is believed; probably half of America was conceived in the rear seats of Chevy 57’s!!
