Family behind media powerhouse Bennett, Coleman & Co., which is chaired by matriarch Indu Jain and run by sons Samir and Vineet. It is best known for its daily newspaper The Times of India, the world's largest daily newspaper by circulation; The Economic Times, the world's biggest financial newspaper after the Wall Street Journal; and TV news channel Times Now. In June the group formed a joint venture with U.S.-based Vice Media to produce digital, mobile and TV content for the Indian market. In August its new Bennett University, which collaborates with U.S.-based Babson College and Georgia Institute of Technology, was inaugurated by the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh state, where it is located.
