Sanjiv Goenka

Younger sibling of Harsh Goenka (no. 79) chairs the $2.7 billion (revenues) RP-Sanjiv Goenka group, whose biggest asset is 116-year-old power utility CESC. It has 2.9 million customers in eastern India and has recently doubled capacity to 2,500 megawatts. Another storied asset is 152-year-old supermarket chain Spencer's, which son Shashwat looks after. Goenka also owns Quest, a luxury mall in Kolkata and football team Atletico De Kolkata.
