Perfect Poise

Just a note to say Mrs Bhartia was true to her word in letting Mint run independently despite lots of reasons and pressure, both on its finances and its editorial approach, throughout my time at its helm. That, in turn, we promised a carefully written and edited paper with a clear errors correction policy, perhaps made her job easier in letting Mint be a truly independent newsroom. As I have often noted since leaving Mint, if I were to do Mint all over again, I would probably do it much like the first time around with minor tweaks in hindsight but will definitely opt to do it for HT Media.
