Bob Dylan, I must first admit that I love his music. So the comment is in line. No parallel to his singing or poetry or music. Dylan's singing as said in the article defies every known genre. Bob Dylan's music meaning all aspects of music is unto itself. His vocal chords are not vocal chords but music box (music box is a very ordinary word/phrase to use for this similes but I have no phrases as said in Tambourine Man).

May be, he can not be compared to Trinities of Music - Bach, Beethoven, Mozart - similarly in India's Thyaga Raja, Muthu Swamy Dikshitar and Shyama Shastry, the Indian Trinity) but greatest of all post 1950s music greats. In India the comparable contemporary is Dr.Bala Murali Krishna (His voice is uniquely fabulous and at par). Any way to write about Dylan, Only a Tambourine Man can do. Dylan the God of Music. To close if at all I wish to be in USA for some time (Of course, I can not afford) it is only to feel the USA the land of Dylan and also feel and see the Dylan reverberations (Live Concert in USA).
