The rupee is slip sliding away. Alphaville, a Financial Times blog, has a very good column about the fall of the rupee and what it means to India. While everyone understands that Europe is the prime problem that is hurting the Indian currency, this column goes in great details to tell us that the Indian economy is hurting because of serious problems faced within the economy. The slide of the rupee and the greek crisis are symptoms of a serious disease that has struck at the heart of the country. Business Standard has a very good editorial about the same topic.
