Media, healthcare, education, automotive—few industry sectors today are safe from the threat of potentially wrenching competitive and technological change. According to a recent study, 75% of the on S&P 500 companies will be replaced by 2027. The seeds of this destruction lay in Disruptive Innovation. However, innovation not well understood, is too often seen as an art that cannot be planned for.
Based on Innosight’s experience across industries, combined with the disruptive innovation conceptual framework laid by its founder Prof. Clay Christensen (author of ‘Innovator’s Dilemma’, ‘Innovator’s Solution’), it believes innovation can be a discipline that an organization can learn and excel at.
