Maybe those companies who turned down your request for interviews were not comfortable talking about it in your magazine. I know some of the firms that you mentioned (who turned down your requests) have openly talked about it in other forums.

In the podcast I heard that many companies in india do not have a diversity policy or are not open to talking about it. I wanted to bring to your notice that I work for Google and we have an open Diversity and inclusion policy and we are quite open about it
