A fabulous exhibition on 300 years of Indian landscape art
If you’re in Delhi, head over to the Delhi Art Gallery (DAG) as quick as you can. They have put together a fabulous exhibition on 300 years of Indian landscape art, with 400 works by over 100 artists from the 18th century onwards. The exhibition will run up to the end of September.
If you can’t be in the capital—or even if you can—DAG has put together a coffee table book by the same name, which features all the works from the exhibition, plus a couple of illuminating essays illustrated with works you won’t see there. The book should be available across the country. If you have difficulty finding it, contact the gallery (delhiartgallery.com ). If you tell them you heard about it from Forbes India, thereby demonstrating your discerning taste, you might just get yourself a discount.
