The four brothers—Srichand and Gopichand who live in London, Prakash who is in Geneva, and youngest Ashok in Mumbai—also have interests in defence, energy, petroleum, media and technology.

He shares his fortune with mother Blanche, who is on the board, and his siblings.

My heartiest congratulations to Mr. L.D. Mittal who has made it to 75th number in the Forbes list. Having worked closely with him I understand he is VERY FOCUSSED in his business life besides he is joyous person in general life. He gives patient hearing to every body, he is never in a hurry. He keeps every body motivated and fully charged, he knows how to extract the very best from his team members. On top of all HE IS A VERY GOOD HUMAN BEING, KIND AND READY TO EXTEND BLESSINGS TO DESERVING. HE IS A LOVABLE PERSONALITY. He has also done wonderful things for the society and is always a giver. Even his children, working on his footprints, are excellent personalities and it is always a wonderful experience to work with them. The person working with any of Mittal family member can really learn a lot from Shri Lachhaman Das Mittal. I salute Shri L.D. Mittal for every thing he has done for the society.
