on Jun 16, 2013Excellent article. Mr kapadia is an outstanding example to all us Parsis. I also grew up in khetwadi and I would very much like an address or an email where he can be contacted. Will thank you to provide one.
on Oct 15, 2012and he ruined it all on his final day by giving a questionable judgement. Quite a hermit like judgement I would say.
on Oct 3, 2012we have to learn from these kind of people
on Sep 30, 2012Lawyers may figuratively be described as Priest in temple of Justice.
on Sep 13, 2012Couldnt restrain myself from commenting. The fact that he refused to meet Forbes India and still Forbes went ahead and published this article is a testimony in itself to the greatnessof this man.
on Sep 7, 2012A few individual islands or highlands will not form a field to cultivate It is absolutely salty sea water there defacto lack of accountability bought out by the papers based work, territorial based divisions, and human faced judgments with no vigilant check up by higher authority or it choose to omit to supervise no question what so ever even in the case junior civil judge or Magistrate, Higher authorities come to lower courts only to eat and go around the countryside thus enjoying the illegal hospitality in the name of inspections by High court judge which will not last for 3 Hrs out of 8 Hrs of official schedule the rest of the Hrs goes for entertainment They do see only case dockets chosen by subordinates to put their initial
on Sep 2, 2012God\'s gift to India and hope we have more people like himd to adjudicate cases in a fair manner
on Aug 24, 2012It is heartening to note that such a staunch person of highest integrity is heading the the highest court of justice in India and it is a matter of pride for every Indian.May his tribe increase by leaps and bounds and drown the news of the corrupt politician.
on Aug 23, 2012It is very heartening to know that in present day and age, when corruption abounds in every sphere of life, when we have self-serving dwarfs as national leader, there is a man who stands head and shoulders above the rest in honesty, integrity and dedication to thee cause of justice.
on Aug 23, 2012I will urge the Hon\'ble Chief Justice where his lordship has moved so many reforms in our judicial system there is need of hour/second to give necessary directions to all the concerned either at Executive or judiciary in view of the judgement dated 17th August,2012 passed in Writ Petition (Crl.) 200 of 2011 and 205 of 2011 where the delay of 37years trial has been discussed. There is need to remind the concerned authorities to emerge more vigorously.
on Aug 22, 2012His life inspires milions advocates practicing law in the courts. i personally have seen him in several cases his skills of critical analysis on all the subjects is commendable.
on Aug 22, 2012Good to know always that there are honest hard working men around occupying high posts who can make a difference. I hope Justice Kapadia will relax the norms regarding 'contempt of court' criteria. I believe citizens have a right to question and discuss and analyze and disagree with the judgments passed by the Supreme Court. It needs to have its independence and everything but just as the other pillars of our democracy are all open to criticism and accountable to the people of India in the ultimate analysis, so should the Supreme Court. I myself am hoping to add to the burden of this Supreme Court with a case that has a bearing on how we as a society wish to approach the issue of religious faith and religious tolerance and criticism of religion. on Aug 21, 2012This is very inspiring story. I personally had lost faith in Indian Judiciary, however, started thinking positive about it since last two years. Everybody knows how difficult it is to fight against money and power, however, with Supreme court, people still have hopes. Thank you for being a great role model and indeed a unsung one. Sincerely hope Mr Kapadia will keep guiding the country after September. Thanks to Forbes India for the great article.
